Seoul, Korea, October 15, 2025 — Hankook Tire & Technology (hereafter Hankook), a leading global tire company under Hankook & Company Group, continues its role as the exclusive tire supplier for the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) for Round 12 of the season, the Central European Rally. The Central European Rally will be held from October 16 to 19 across Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic, challenging crews with demanding asphalt stages and rural hill climbs that define this unique tri-nation event.

The Central European Rally is based in Passau, Bavaria, with 18 special stages totaling around 307 kilometers stretching across Austria and the Czech Republic. Since its debut in 2023, the event has quickly earned recognition as one of the benchmark events on modern tarmac rallying, combining fast and technical roads with ever-changing autumn weather to deliver a spectacle that continues to captivate fans around the world.

The rally is defined by its variety of stages that differ from country to country. From the narrow, slippery, and technical sections cutting through the Bavarian Forest to roads where grip levels shift rapidly with rain, fog, and fluctuating autumn temperatures, crews face conditions that push both tire performance and driving strategy to the limit.

Hankook supplies its Ventus Z215 and Ventus Z210 tarmac rally tires for the event. The Ventus Z215 delivers precise handling and strong cornering stability on dry asphalt, while the Ventus Z210 ensures reliable grip and efficient water evacuation in wet and variable weather conditions. Both tires are engineered to maintain consistent performance during high-speed stages and precision cornering conditions, ensuring stable runs in extreme rally environments.

During the event, Hankook will host its ‘Brand World’ booth inside the service park to further strengthen the premium image of its unified global brand. The booth will feature a Motorsport History Zone, Racing Simulator Experience, exclusive merchandise, and photo areas, offering fans an engaging and immersive brand experience throughout the rally weekend.

Following Rally Chile Bio Bío, where Sébastien Ogier of Toyota GAZOO Racing World Rally Team claimed victory to move into the championship lead, the battle for the 2025 title has intensified. With just three rounds remaining in the season, the Central European Rally is set to become a decisive turning point in the fight for the championship.

Hankook continues to prove the reliability of its technology by delivering consistent performance in the most demanding rally environments through its exclusive tire supply across all WRC categories. Building on this foundation, the company aims to further reinforce its status as a global premium brand in the world’s premier motorsport arena, while continuing to showcase its spirit of innovation through advanced tire technology.
