Seoul, Korea, July 16, 2025 — The Asian Series Round 4 races of the 'Lamborghini Super Trofeo' 2025 season, a racing competition hosted by Italian supercar brand Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A and exclusively supplied with racing tires by global leading tire company Hankook Tire & Technology (Hankook Tire), will be held from July 18 to 20 at INJE SPEEDIUM in Gangwon Province.
Hankook Tire has been significantly contributing to the expansion of domestic motorsports through world-class racing competitions in Korea every year since the 2023 season in partnership with Lamborghini.
In particular, Hankook Tire's ultra-high-performance racing tire 'Ventus' has been supporting the explosive performance of the competing vehicle 'Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2' while demonstrating the highest level of motorsports technology, and has widely impressed domestic motorsports fans with the premium status of the global integrated brand 'Hankook.'
INJE SPEEDIUM, where the races will be held, is designed with a total length of 3.91 km featuring high-speed straights and 19 corner sections, as well as dynamic up-and-down sections utilizing a maximum elevation difference of 40 meters. To overcome extreme environments including high track surface temperatures during the competition period with daytime maximum temperatures exceeding 30°C, repeated sharp turn courses, and elevation differences, core performances of racing tires such as grip, handling, durability, and heat resistance must be perfectly supported.
Hankook Tire expects that 'Ventus' will provide optimal racing performance in this Korean competition as well, as it has led stable competition operations with its exceptional motorsports technology in various climates and extreme driving environments around the world.
In addition, during the competition period, the company will hold the 'Ventus Experience' event to provide European famous automotive influencers with opportunities to experience the technology of the 'Ventus Super Sports' product line. Starting with attending the Korean races, the company plans to impress its top-tier technology leading the global ultra-high-performance tire market through driving programs utilizing Hankook Tire's supercars and cutting-edge R&D infrastructure tours.
Hankook Tire is dedicated to securing the most advanced ultra-high-performance tire technology by conducting final verification of core technologies developed at cutting-edge infrastructure including the headquarters 'Technoplex,' five global R&D centers led by high-tech research center 'Hankook Technodome,' and Asia's largest tire test track 'Hankook Technoring' through over 70 global motorsports competitions including 'Lamborghini Super Trofeo' and 'FIA World Rally Championship (WRC).'
As a result of these efforts, the company continues to expand partnerships with supercar brands including 'Porsche,' 'BMW M,' 'Mercedes-AMG,' and 'Audi RS' in the original equipment tire sector, and is also accelerating its global market expansion in the replacement tire sector with the 'Ventus Super Sports' lineup at the forefront.
Meanwhile, the 2025 season Lamborghini Super Trofeo consists of three series across Asia, Europe, and North America, with each series comprising six rounds of races. After the season ends, continental series winners will compete for the season championship through the Grand Final to be held in the Misano region of Italy in November.
