Seoul, Korea, June 4, 2025 — Global leading tire company Hankook Tire & Technology (Hankook Tire) is ready to bring rally proven grip and performance to the upcoming Round 6 of the 2025 WRC season, Rally Italia Sardegna 2025, taking place from June 5 to 8 in Olbia, northeastern Sardinia, Italy.

Rally Italia Sardegna is renowned for its picturesque Mediterranean scenery yet presents one of the most punishing challenges due to its notorious narrow stages, rugged terrain, and blistering early summer heat.

Across four days, competitors will face 16 Special Stages (SS) covering a total distance of about 320 kilometers. This rally’s demanding layout features tight, high-speed stretches lined with trees and rocks, as well as gravel and harsh sand surfaces that push tire durability and grip to the limit.

With daytime highs reaching around 30°C, top speeds exceeding 200 km/h, and engine revolutions peaking at 8,500 rpm, the Sardinian stages put intense strain on both drivers and machines. In these extreme conditions, advanced heat resistance and high wear durability of the tires are essential.

At Rally Italia Sardegna, Hankook Tire is set to equip the world’s top WRC contenders with its extreme all-terrain rally tire, the Dynapro R213—a product engineered to excel on punishing, rugged surfaces. The Dynapro R213 offers exceptional shock absorption, precise steering, and outstanding wear resistance, delivering confidence-inspiring stability across the harshest rally terrains.

The Dynapro R213 demonstrated its off-road dominance at Safari Rally Kenya in March, where it played a pivotal role in propelling the Hyundai Shell Mobis World Rally Team to its record-breaking double podium. The Dynapro R213 also played a supporting role Sébastien Ogier's record-setting seventh win at Vodafone Rally de Portugal—one of the most grueling events of the WRC season.

With Elfyn Evans from Toyota Gazoo Racing World Rally Team currently leading the Drivers’ Championship with 118 points, the upcoming rally promises yet another intense competition in Sardinia, fueling the excitement of the 2025 WRC season further.

As the exclusive tire supplier to the FIA World Rally Championship, Hankook Tire continues to prove its advanced technology and product reliability under extreme rallying conditions, strengthening its position as a global premium brand. The company supplies tires to all WRC classes including WRC1, WRC2, WRC3, and Junior WRC, consistently delivering consistent, high-level performance on every surface and in every scenario.
